How far in advanced do I have to place my order?

Keen for a party? There is no set time to place your order, but it depends on the availability of the items you want and when you need them. The earlier you place your order, the better.  You can’t plan too far in advance!

Is a deposit required?

Yes. To hold any items for you, we request either security bond payment or 10% depending on quantity of order.  Payments can be made via: cash, direct transfer, Visa/MasterCard or Amex (3% surcharge).  Items will not be secured until payment has been made.

Do I have to wash dishes and glasses after I use them?

Glasses do not have to be washed.  Just empty and return to crate unless they have been used in relation to food.  Speaking of food all items that have been used in relation to food must be washed prior to return.  We will not except items if they have not been washed.

Do I get credit if I don't use an item?

We can advise you on what you will need to hire for your event so be sure to describe it to us as this will minimize unused items.  As you are paying for “time out” on the item from our stock, unfortunately you don’t receive credit if you don’t use it.

What happens if an item breaks?

You will be accountable for breakages and loss of items and we will need to charge you for this so it’s best not to keep a glass as a memento of your special occasion!  We trust that you will respect our equipment and not misuse it.  Full replacement cost will be charged for missing or damaged items. 

Is there a delivery charge?

Unless you can collect items yourself, then yes there will be a delivery charge.  This fee is based on distance and standard delivery charges cover ground floor deliveries during our business hours. After hours deliveries or upstairs deliveries will incur additional fees.  Please ring for a quote.  Please note some items are delivery only.

Can I make changes to my order?

Yes, you can add to your order subject to availability.   We endeavor to help with all changes even last minute however this is also within reason.   We don’t allow cancellation of marquee due to fine weather if held for a rain contingency.  

How long is the hire period?

Prices on our website are based on delivery Thursday or Friday and pick up Monday or Tuesday (except on long weekends) and similar if mid-week.  If collecting price is from Friday to Monday for weekend hire or by arrangement if requiring earlier or mid-week.

When will my items be delivered?

If you function is on Saturday or Sunday and in a private residence, we deliver on Thursday or Friday and pick up Monday or Tuesday.  We can try a put a preference in but can not guarantee day as they are done on runs.  If in a public location then we will require more information please call office and they will be able to advise.

What information do I need to have for a get marquee quote?

We will need to know -is marquee being installed in a private residence, or public location?  

    • if it is being installed on a peggable or no peggable surface,
    • is there drive up access to site, 
    • is there stairs, slopes or difficult access.  There is a lot of heavy equipment with marquees so please keep this in mind when deciding on location and how far away the trucks can be parked for access.
